The story could also be called What I Saw in the Water, a story drawing its motifs from Jean Cocteau. Abandoned by her lover, a woman swallows tablets, yet she is unable to die properly and begins to explore her memory in her state of non-death. A bathtub in shades of cloudy blue becomes the vessel of past loves. A time for ghosts: Eros, for example, in the form of a tiny devil marionette with a giant penis; a skeleton with chunky ear jewellery... With every dream-image rising from the waters, she gradually regains her sense of self. The performance speaks of erotic dependence, of seduction, unfulfilled desires and solitude. A theatre collage for a female animator, figures and the watery element accompanied by the music of an African glass harp.
