Long Night Of Experiments

Stine Hertel & Daniel Franz (Gießen, Hamburg/Gemany)
Keiner ist böse und keiner ist gut
Staged radio play based on a text by Rainer Werner Fassbinder

Company
Stine Hertel and Daniel Franz studied at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies in Gießen. After having worked as assistants in direction, stage design and production for theatre and film, they now create their own projects. This is their second collaboration; it was realised together with Tom Hanke of the Bauhaus University Weimar.

Performance
The starting point for Fassbinder's play are difficult constellations of social togetherness from which point a utopia is developed. This is captured by a theatrical sound installation which is set in motion, resembling an extremely slow, entranced pinball machine with voices, music and noises; fuelled by a suspended mixture of image and language and enriched by sociological concepts from Luhmann to Foucault.
