Although Susanne Claus, Jonas Knecht and Lutz Großmann have known each other on a professional basis for a number of years, this is their first production together in this constellation.
Performance
Arch enemies from time immemorial: Punch and the Devil. In a fury, the latter hatches a plan to make the fellow with the foolscap fall in love with his neighbour, Grete L. But family life soon degenerates into a family crisis and Punch is out to string himself up. Hang him a bit higher, the Devil cries out with glee … Here that traditional old tale of Punch & co. is retold with all the drastic, hardcore force that hand puppet theatre has to offer.
