Founded in Ravenna six years ago by Marco Valerio Amico, Rhuena Bracci and Roberto Rettura, NANOU is presenting the first and second part of its trilogy Motel, which will be completed this year.

Performance
The motel as a surreal roomscape. A place for secret encounters, travellers, lovers, criminals. Man and woman – like two sleepwalkers, mute, apparently externally controlled, almost ghost-like, an opaque relationship. It feels as if we were watching them dream. Or is the place itself dreaming? Like film stills, the episodic miniatures narrate the invisible and the uncanny, as well as disappearance and how certain places can take possession of you.
