Two people forced to coexist – locked up like lab rats in a glass terrarium. The relationship that is created between the two is in constant flux and full of fragility, and characterised by adaptation and kindness. Nothing is fixed, everything seems possible. Clustered around this glass cage, the audience sees how, in this process, some things end well and others badly: gestures that can help you to understand each other can also have treacherous consequences. Confined within its limited space, and dealing with its subjects through the prism of risk and of the limits of the body, this intimate and humorous piece creates tableaus that combine dance, theatre and acrobatics to play with the codes of theatrical representation.

The prizewinning Cie Moost was founded in 2017 on the initiative of Marc Oosterhoff, who holds two bachelor degrees. The company’s works are a unique blend of contemporary dance, circus and theatre. Oosterhoff is viewed as a shooting star of the Swiss circus scene, and has been awarded, among others, the June Johnson Newcomer Prize. Here, working as a duo with the American circus artist Owen Winship, who graduated from the renowned National Circus School of Quebec, he has created a witty production that explores complex relationship dynamics.
