fraen, a Berlin-based singer-songwriter, tackles complex emotional experiences and feelings as well as spiritual growth in her songs. Influenced by artists like Amy Winehouse, Erykah Badu, Etta James and Jill Scott, fraen’s sound is a fusion of neo-soul, R&B and UK garage. Combined with electronic elements and an impressive voice full of gentle melancholy, the result is a multilayered sound that transcends genre.
